Take Flight Farms Credentials

• Take Flight Farms has been designated a Distinguished Program Member of EAGALA. The award, received at the 2010 EAGALA Conference, notes our 'adherence to exceptional standards of business and practice in EAGALA Model Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Equine Assisted Learning'.

• Having maintained membership with the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA) since 2003, we are an active part of the non-profit organization's mission to provide resources and education while promoting professionalism in the field of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Equine Assisted Learning.

• Take Flight Farms is designated by the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA) as a Premier Center — the highest possible level of accreditation. We were one of the first centers to field test NARHA’s Equine Facilitated Mental Health standards.
  
  
• Take Flight Farms is an active member of the Equine Facilitated Mental Health Association (EFMHA), a section of NARHA dedicated to educating others to work with the horse in the treatment of people with emotional, behavioral, social, and mental health needs.
  
  
• Each member of our staff has achieved EAGALA Certification, including two therapists and five equine specialists. Ten of our volunteers have completed Part I EAGALA training. One member of our team has EAGALA Advanced Certification and NARHA Registered Instructor certification.
