Why Take Flight Farms?

• We strive to push our clients out of their comfort zones or regular routines. This is meant to help them look at issues in their lives with new perspective.

• The attraction of riding a horse is an incentive to keep teenagers involved in our partnering organizations.

• Working with the horses doesn’t require a special talent, or physical or mental prowess. Success isn’t measured by scoring a touchdown or getting straight A’s, but rather by attaining personal goals – the confidence to pet the horse, or get on the horse’s back, or riding once around the ring.

• Our unmounted activities are presented as “challenges” which require participants to communicate, cooperate and plan as a team to accomplish a goal. The horse is a part of the team, and as with people, some are better team players than others!
